Mouse Problem with GTA San Andreas - posted in Games: I have an extremely odd situation with my mouse and GTA: San Andreas-My left/right mouse buttons and the mouse wheel will not work ingame, nor on the menu. I can move the pointer as normal (in the menu), but I cannot fire (a.k.a left mouse button) use crosshairs (a.k.a right mouse button) or select a weapon (a.k.a mouse wheel). Go into Options for Controller - choose Keyboard Settings, then Vehicle, then click the 'M' for Mouse Look' - then you'll look up and down when you move the mouse to do so - I use a mouse with a ball on top - you dont move the mouse at all - only the ball - seems to work best for GTA-SA, as far as looking I want to disable only camera control in SA, nothing more, like simply disabling the mouse, but I also need to read the mouse movement The opcode 01B4: (SET_PLAYER_CONTROL) disables camera control, but also the player movement. This works with some flags, but are flags that disables the player Most annoyingly, they don't work with GTA San andreas. The moment I touch a key to move, the camera starts spinning. If I turn down the mouse sensitivity, it still spins, just slower. The only way to kinda control it is to click the cursor in the center of the screen, but once I let go the camera continues to spin in the last direction I was
Disabling auto-center camera - thoughts and rambling. So, I have a pretty simple script that uses the idea from a user (UnearthedOx) over at GTAForums to trick the game into thinking you are moving your mouse every 100 ms. It disables the camera from auto-centering on-foot and in-vehicle, but the catch is it only works with Mouse&Keyboard
I have a small issue where the camera locks in place only if CJ starts moving before I starting moving the camera. If I move the camera first and then CJ, I can freely move the camera around while CJ is moving. I'm playing on a downgraded version (1.0) with various mods installed such as the slient patch, SAMP, skyFX and many more on my Dell I don't know if this is part of the game or something but for some odd reason I can't look around with my mouse, it just stays looking directly ahead. My mouse is a Razer Deathadder 2013 if that has any relevance.

get on car, make a turn => adjust camera with mouse. make another turn => adjust camera with mouse. make another turn => adjust camera with mouse. make another turn => adjust camera with mouse. make another turn => adjust camera with mouse. this is annoying as hell. when I drive, I want to drive, not to feel like I'm always 'directing' a scene.
Additionally, although I don't know if it's related, whenever I get in a car with hydraulics, the front is constantly pointed upwards, when I was playing months ago I frequently encountered a problem where the mouse camera would not work at all, and in My grand theft auto 3 the problem is even worse as even out of aiming my gun my camera is
Usually gets it to work. 1. [deleted] • 11 yr. ago. Okay, what you've got to do to get the mouse working is launch the game, hit CTl-ALT-DELETE, open task manager, go to the processes tab, find GTASA.exe and right click on it, choose set affinity and set it to CPU 0 only. I guess San Andreas was never meant to run on a multi-core processor. 3.
So, I try to fix this bug for a couple hours. And The problem is fixed.Enjoy the game! Joined: 11/29/2008. Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) I've been having a very annoying glitch lately where sometimes the camera won't move after I've been to the main menu. The only way I've found to fix it is to hit esc and resume over and over which can take a few tries or several minutes, and it could just happen again next time I go to the menu. every time you enter the game press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select processes find gta_sa right clic it and choose set affinity, then you only want to enable CPU0 press ok and your done :) #10 ebbebb09

Use the arrow keys to drive and set right click as your handbrake, as it was in GTA3/VC. You will always have your hand on the mouse this way, allowing you to freely adjust the camera whenever you
