This indicates the serial number, warranty etc. The instruction for update begins with 'remove the SD card from slot 2'.

Year: 2013. Posted 25 October, 2016. I understand from Skoda that the first three years of SatNav updates are free, however logging into the Skoda update website has resulted in two and a half years of "no updates available" followed by the last message of "take it to the dealer".

VW have changed the date of the MIB1 Amundsen update on their website, but it's still the same version 94 content from June 2020 - sneaky so-and-so's. The Skoda Portal is still showing the same old update from June 2020, but at least they haven't 'fudged' the date to make it look like a new update like VW have. Format the card using “FAT32” and the default “4096 bytes” allocation unit size. 8. Now copy the new satnav data from the folder at Step 2 (i.e. copy the “maps” folder and the “md5sum.txt” file) to the newly formatted SD card. This can take another 20-30 minutes to complete.
On the satnav screen showing the map I pressed the spyglass icon to the right, centre of the screen (not the two at the top left). This then brings up another screen. Press the spyglass and letter icon on the top right of the screen. This should then show an input line on the top.
Urrell. 8317 posts · Joined 2014. #2 · May 16, 2020. Go to " Update portal " and insert your VIN. Choose the map to down load. It has to go on your original Skoda map SD card so best to back this up on your computer just in case.
