The 6D Mark II is slightly larger than its predecessor, too, bringing it a bit closer in size to a 5D-series camera. In total, the 6D II weighs 27 ounces (765 grams) with a battery inserted. Its Just like the 5D Mark III, the Canon 6D offers full manual control over the video while recording. The built-in microphone (which I didn’t use here) is mono, but there is an external socket for a stereo microphone. The big differences between the 6D and 5D mark III – the 6D doesn’t have a headphone jack to monitor the audio being recorded. Judging from Chris’s and Jordan’s experience, Canon 6D Mark II seems to have more disadvantages than advantages. Or at least, they are more serious. First of all, it only has one SD card slot. Considering that even some cheaper and crop sensor camera have two slots, Canon should have definitely reconsidered this before production.

We review the new Canon EOS 6D Mark II, the long awaited update to the 6D, with a new 26mp Full-Frame sensor, and vari-angle touch-screen. 11 Aug 2017 11:45AM by Joshua Waller
The Canon EOS 6D Mark II, originally released in summer 2017, is a hybrid between the entry-level and professional level Digital SLR. The 6D is technically an entry-level full-frame SLR camera, however. It provides a 6-megapixel increase in resolution over the predecessor, now providing 26.2-megapixels, and was the first camera to offer Canon TBgCl.
