Renazco Best seat I've ever owned was on my XR600R. I've had Seat Concept seats on all my KTMs. I've got the tall comfort seat on the 1090 and 3 hours of riding is just fine.
Long time lurker on this site, finally going to bite the bullet and get a full size adventure bike. The 1090 seems like the perfect bike for me at this time, and the prices on them seem better then ever. I have been watching Cycletrader for about 6 months and it seems that I have my pick from 2017-2019 model years within 200 miles from my location. But here is a review from someone that has test driven the KTM 1090 Adventure. The riding position I remembered it well, and get on in 1090 was only a confirmation of the good things I had already "tasted" on 1050. Straight Bust, comfort, ergonomics but also a feeling of determination and aggression when you grab the handlebars. Wings for 1090 is much smaller that original silencer. It is also much lighter. Wings weights only 2 kg. I couldn't measure the weight of stock silencer, as my little scale is limited to 5 kg and it is heavier than that. Wings comes with very nice bracket and installation is a breeze.
