If you have tried the Hoka One One Carbon X (or Carbon X-SPE), you will find that the new edition, Carbon X 2, has seen a number of updates.Hoka One One has redesigned the position of the carbon plate in the midsole and shock absorption to provide a softer running experience without compromising on the performance of the shoe.
First Impressions and Fit. The new Cielo X MD is Hoka’s elite, mid-distance, carbon-plated spike. With a shimmer effect glazing the midsole and outsole, carbon fiber peeking through at the heel, and a color scheme that Hoka pulls off beautifully, this spike without question looks the part - and feels it, too.

It’s simply impossible to leave the Clifton off our list of the best Hoka running shoes because this is where it

The upper fit of the Carbon X3 is much more voluminous as compared to both of those shoes. Adam: Since their inception Hoka has been one of the pioneers of both light max cushion shoes and carbon plated racer/trainers with the original Carbon X. The Carbon X3 has a beautifully complex knit upper, but I found the fit loose.
The Hoka Carbon X2 isn't like most other Carbon-plated racers. Its firm midsole, wide base, and low-to-the-ground plate makes it versatile enough for long-distance races and everyday runs alike. Ride stability, speed-friendly ride character, high-mileage cushioning, secure upper fit, reflectivity.
Highlights. Highlights from Hoka include the Rocket X 2, Tecton X 2, and Mach X. Secret. No word on Rincon 4 (we tried) and we did have some photos of the Mach X, but it’s under embargo until summer 2023. Missing. Not fully inclusive of all 2023 shoes (some FW shoes may still be under embargo)
The Carbon X 2 contains our J-Frame(TM) technology designed to prevent excessive inward roll, or overpronation, without overcorrecting your gait. The Carbon X 2 contains features that make the shoe inherently stable, such as a wide base and our Active Foot Frame, for a moderate amount of stability that is still designed to work for neutral gaits. The Hoka Evo Speedgoat is a highly regarded trail running shoe that's also made for speed. But if you want all the good things from the Speedgoat amplified, the Tecton X gladly delivers: Lighter: The Tecton X weighs in at 8.9 oz whereas the Evo Speedgoat weighs in at 9.3 oz. Faster: Because of its dual-density ProflyX midsole and dual carbon

Product Details: The HOKA Cielo X 2 LD provides elite track athletes with a race day option ideal for events in the 3K to 10K range. This incredibly lightweight spike delivers a more responsive and snappier ride than its predecessor thanks to the carbon fiber plate in the midsole, the Pebax spike plate in the forefoot, and extra stack height of HOKA's latest highly responsive supercritical foam. Most boring shoe I ever had. The shoe is damn narrow, the foam is dead from kilometre one onwards, I even doubt there's a carbon plate in them, can't feel even a slight pop. Just horrible. I retired them after 250km, cause every run in them was such a chore. And also they are pretty damn expensive for that. In general Hoka is really bad at the
The Hoka One One Rincon 3 is a multipurpose trainer that can handle almost any pace and any distance. Its strength is its lightweight build but its weakness is its lower than average durability. Version 3 is a big improvement over previous versions. It has a smoother ride, a more resilient midsole and a more durable outsole.
Hoka Carbon X 3 or ENDORPHIN PRO 3. I pronate a lot and am looking for a new half marathon race show after the Alphafly cause extreme pain. I need a shoe I can put insoles in. I pronate and I just picked up the Endorphin Pro 3, did a 20 miler and loved it. X3 might be a tad more stable but I would bet the Pro 3 will be faster and more comfortable. yGsx.
