From my experience VODs are available on a few minutes delay during the stream. I just checked two streams that are live right now, one has a VOD from "34 minutes ago" that is 34 minutes long, the other channel started streaming 53 minutes ago (the VOD says "an hour ago" which is of course rounded up) and the VOD is already 53 minutes long

That's the thing, I want to have specific VOD's on YouTube, and specific VOD's on Twitch. Like when I stream a 10 hour game across 3 streams, I want the 3 streams to be findable on Twitch for people to watch, but will also edit them all together into one long video for YouTube.
They stream from their phone/backpack to a server. That server then streams to Twitch. If your phone loses connection, the server is still streaming video to Twitch, so as far as Twitch is concerned nothing has happened. This means you don't get +1 VOD or lose viewers when your phone goes through an area with no signal.
The problem is, the audio track "VOD for Soundtrack" is still there. I can delete it in settings but it keeps showing up every time I relaunch OBS Studio. I'd like to delete every trace of Twitch Soundtrack but I don't know where to delete necessary things. Yes. Twitch needs to have some serious discussions and thoughts about this. I'm still unsure why the current solution (of just muting the offending parts in the clips) no longer suffices now? But yes, if it's the very last last last option, then making vods private or unlisted would be nice.
